The Observation On Improved Pemberton Arthroplasty Cure The Developmental Dislocation Of Hip On The Development Of The Acetabulum

Objective:To discuss the research on improved Pemberton arthroplasty treatment on the development of the acetabulum. Methods:In our hospital, we take improved Pemberton arthroplasty treatment which is combined with Subtrochanter Rotational Osteotomy, dissection and diaplasis with accessorial function exercise to treat 44 DDH patients(59 hips) from 2004 to 2006. The writer is to discuss the OPS.curative effect based on the analysis of AI, CE, and AHI after the clinical research on all patiences combined with iconography data. Results:That the development of the acetabulum has been obviously improved by observating the change of the development of the acetabulum after treatment. AI has been decreased 21.7°on average,with 42°before treatment and 20.3°after treatment. AHI has been improved from 38.6% to 111% after treatment. CE has been increased 48°on average, with -20°before treatment and 28°after treatment. According to standard of perfection of Zhou Yongde and Ji Shijun, 39cases are evaluated excellent by 66.1%, 16 fine by 27.1%, 3 passing by 5.1%, 1 failure by 1.7%. Conclusions:Improved Pemberton arthroplasty treatment which is combined with Subtrochanter Rotational Osteotomy, dissection and diaplasis that can improve the shape of acetabulumand more better, correct AI,CE,and AHI, increase fraction of coverage of fraction of coverage, and improve stress fraction. With this treatment, the development of the acetabulum is on the verge of normal and satisfied clinical curative effect has been achieved.
