| Objective:To explore the correlations of clinic and pathological information and prognosis in female breast cancer between young and old patients. Methods:TO select the 210 female breast cancers which meet inclusion criteria between young and old patients in January 1998 to December 2008 and in our hospital and by radical mastectomy or modified radical mastectomy. The young group and the old group respectively have 100 cases and 110 cases. All of them are confirmed pathologically infiltrating nonspecific breast cancer. Clinic service following up records is integrity. Both groups are retrospectively analyzed the clinical and pathological information and prognosis. To analyze contrastively difference in both groups by SPSS 17.0 and analyze related prognostic factors by multi-factor analysis of logistic regression. Results:Both groups have significant difference in lymph node metastasis, clinical pathologic stage, histological grading, positive expression of estrogen receptor (ER) and human epidermal receptor-2 (HER-2),radiotherapy,Postoperative no tumor survival, relapse and metastasis (P<0.05). Both groups have not statistical difference in duration bump size, positive expression of progesterone receptor (PR)and chemotherapy status (P>0.05). It is showed that postoperative chemotherapy and positive expression status of ER and HER-2 are associated with the factors of prognosis of breast cancer by results of multi-factor analysis of logistic regression. Conclusion:The young breast cancer is bad in their biological properties and poor in their prognosis. The malignant level of elderly breast cancer is low, Prognosis is good. Should differentiate treatment of breast cancer in two groups according to high or low expression level of ER (+) and HER-2 (+).Timely adjust treatments. Attention postoperative individualized therapies. |
