Objective:Lung cancer is the most common cancer and the leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the world. As the elderly population increases, the prevalence of lung cancer among the elderly will increase too.To evaluate the survival status and prognosisi factors of In advanced non-small cell lung cancer in the elderly. Methods:A total of 107 cases of lung cancer in the elderly seen in out hospital between january 2006 and january 2010 were retrospectively reviewed.patient survival and prognostic factors were analyzed. Results:The 1-and 2-year overall survival rates were 16.00%,0,respectively.The 1-and 2-year survival rates were higher in treated patiengs than in untreated patients37.5%:2.9%(P<0.05).Multivariate analysis showed that patients' age,PS score, metastasis, treatment were related to long-term survival rate(P<0.05).Single factor analysis revealed that gender, smoking, index, clinical stage, weight loss, and bone marrow suppression were not correlated with survival rate.Multi-factor analysis showed that age,PS score were independent prognostic factors for in advanced non-small cell lung cancer in the elderly, treatment and metastasis were related to long-term survival rate. Conclusion:Treatment and metastasis may do after the elderly patients with in advanced non-small cell lung cancer patient s prognosis factor.after and the passable regression model had appraised prognosis, finally instructs the clinical treatment. |
