【Objective】To describe the clinical characteristics of allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis (ABPA).【Methods】The clinical presentations, serologic rseults, lung function data, chest radiology and the results of treatment of 14 patients with ABPA in our hospital were retrospectively analyzed.[Results]There were 5 males and 9 females, with a mean age of(41±14)yrs. the main clinical manifestations included cough(n=14), expectoration(n=13), wheeze(n=11), fever(n=5), hemoptysis(n=2), chest pain(n=1), weak(n=1) and night sweats(n=1).Chest CT was performed in 14 cases. Patchy inflitrations was present in 12, central bronchiectasis in 9, mucoid impaction in 5, nodular opacities in 3, consolidation in 2 and mediastinal adenopathy in 3 cases, while 5 cases presented fleeting infiltrations.[Conclusions]the clinical features of ABPA is non-specificity. Measurement of total IgE, A.fumigatus—specific IgE levels, and immediate cutaneous reaction to A. fumigatus are help for confirmation of the diagnosis.
