AIMTo investigate the intestinal dynamics of bacteria strains Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus in obesity rats.METHODSBoth Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus were labeled by five-(and six-)carboxyl fluorescein diacetate succinimidyl ester (CFDA-SE) molecular probes and fed in amout of 4 mL×109 CFU/mL for all groups. Faeces were took at 0,2,4,8,12,24,48,72,96 h respectively after orogastric administration, rats were sacrificed at 2,4,8,12,24 h respectively from duodenum, jejunum, ileum, and colon. The number of fluorescence positive bacteria were observed under the fluorescence microscopic.RESULTS1.There was less Bifidobacteria in faeces of obese group at 2,4,24 h than normal food group, also the number of Lactobacillus at 2,12,24 h was less than normal food group(P<0.05).2. Bifidobacteria in obese group at 4h, normal group at 2,4,8,24 h showed significant difference in fluorescence examination from Lactobacillus group (P<0.05).3.The distribution of Bifidobactenum in Obese group was different from normal food groups at duodenum on 2,12 h, jejunum on 2,8 h,Ileum on 2,4,8,12 h, and Colon on 2,4,12,24 h (P<0.05); Also Lactobacillus were different from normal food groups at jejunum on 2 h, Ileum on 8,12 24 h, and Colon in 2,12,24 h (P<0.05).CONCLUSION1.The Intestinal motility is different with the fed of Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus.2.Obesity could influence the intestinal motility in fed of Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus. |
