| ObjectiveTo investigate the safety and superiority of laparoscopic hepatectomy(LH) for benign liver tumor, compared with open hepatectomy(OH).MethodsAccording to the selected standard and eliminant standard, two hundred and thirty cases of benign liver tumor were enrolled from Feb.2001 to Feb.2011 and were divided into LH group and OH group based on different surgical intervention above. Clinical data of two groups were retrospectively compared, which included operation duration, intraoperative blood loss, blood transfusion, postoperative hospital stays, morbidity and pre- and post-operative liver function.Results110 cases of LH and 120 cases of OH were enrolled. LH group revealed superior in operation duration, intraoperative blood loss, blood transfusion, postoperative hospital stay and postoperative mean value of ALT and AST(P<0.05), than OH group. There were no significant differences of postoperative complications and postoperative mean value of TBIL and ALB between the two groups(P>0.05).ConclusionsLaparoscopic hepatectomy for selected patients of benign liver tumor is safe and reliable, compared with conservational open hepatectomy. |
