| Objective to observe change of the quality of the callus, serum alkaline phosphatase(ALP) levels after treatment with Gujian keli, and to explore effects of Gujian keli on remoulding of callus.Method sixty-eight patients enrolled in the study (39 male and 29 female, ranging in age from36 to 56 years) were divided into treatment group (35 patients) and control group (33patients) randomly according to random-number table. The patients in the treatment group were treated with Gujian keli, and patients in control group were treated with Vitamin AD soft capsules pill and calcium tablet. The X-ray scoring of callus, callus BMD, serum ALP levels, and therapeutic effects of the two groups were compared before and after treatment.Result after treatment, the callus BMD and serum ALP levels in treatment group and control group had significant difference (P<0.01), X-ray scoring of callus and total effective rate of the two group also had significant difference (P<0.05).Conclusion the Gujian keli can promote callus remodeling after fracture. |
