ObjectiveTo observe and evaluate the clinical security and validity of Sangma mixture in treating Children Cough with Wind-heat (which belongs to acute bronchitis) patients, and explored its mechanism, provide a scientific evience for clinical treatment.Methods60 patients which meet the diagnostic standard of Chinese medicine and Western medicine, randomized, controlled method, divided into two groups.30 patients in observation group were treated with Sangma mixture.30 patients in control group were treated with Children Qingrelifei liquid by mouth. The control group, male 15, female 15 cases, age 3-7 years old, mean age (4.87±1.04) years; duration 1-7days, the average(2.33±1.12) days; symptoms were recorded into (14.67±6.34) score; Observation group, male 16 and 14 females, age 3-7 years old, mean age (4.83±1.15) years; course of disease 1-7days, the average (2.50±1.22) days; symptoms were recorded into (14.73±6.41) score; Two groups of patients sex, age, disease duration, symptom scores before treatment by the statistical treatment, no significant diference(P>0.05). Control group were give Xiaoer Qingrelifei oral liquid, each lOmL,3 times a day; Observation group to Sangma mixture, ach 15mL,3 times a day; The mean duration of treatment was 3-5 days. All cases were observed before and after treatment of clinical symptoms and signs, such as changes in blood examination, and clinical evaluation. All cases used during the trial may not be combined with any other treatment of acute bronchitis in cough, asthma, expectorant and anti-virus drugs. If the test case during the trial WBC≥12×109/L, can be combined application of antibiotics; if the temperature above 39℃can be combined pplication of antipyretic agents. SPSS 15.0 statistical software used for statistical analysis, classification data with the x2 test, rankee data with Raddit test, numeric data with t test.Results1. Two total compared with the observation group two groups total efficacy 96.67%, the control group was 80%, there were significant differences (P <0.05), the observation group effective than the control group.2. Two TCM symptoms efficacy comparison, there were significant differences (P<0.05), the observation group efficacy superior the control group.3. The major symptoms and treatment effects in two groups before and after treatment of coughing and fever score, not significant differences (P>0.05), sputum score were significant differences(P<0.05).4. Two groups before and after treatment WBC, neutrophil and lymphocytecounts, not significant differences (P>0.05).5. In therapertic course, adverse reaction was not been foundConclusionsThis study indicated that Sangma mixture has obvious effect and less side effects in Treating of Children Cough with Wind-heat, significant improved the symptoms and signs of the patients, reduce the damage of airway mucosa, and prevent the conversion of persistent exacerbations.
