Objective:To investigate the short-term curative effect and the TCM's function of reducing toxicity and increasing effect on chemotherapy of using ShenQisan combined with the chemotherapy of LV/FU. And provide clinical edvidence and theoretical basis for the research of TCM combined with chemotherapy treatment of patients with colorectal cancer after operation.Methods:62 cases with Colorectal Cancer after operation randomly divided into two groups, the treatment group (ShenQisan combined with the chemotherapy of LV/FU) with 32 cases, the control group(chemotherapy alone LV/FU) with 30 cases. Treated with LV/FU conventional chemotherapy, and four weeks as a course of continuous observation for 6 cycles. Chemotherapy treatment group with ShenQisan for oral taken 3 times a day in the interim period day. compared two groups in changes in quality of life, the improvement of symptoms Chinese situation.Results:①omparison in Quality of life:there is significant improvement in Quality of life in the treatment group compared with the control group(P<0.05).②omparison in Symptoms TCM improvement:After treatment, in the treatment group,12 cases were marked effect,16 cases were effect,4 case had no effect, the total effective rate up 87.5%; in the control group,4 cases were marked effect,12 cases were effect,14 cases had no effect, the total effective rate only 53.3%, there is significant difference(P<0.01).③Comparison in the change of KPS Score:After treatment, the treatment group and the control group had no significant difference in the change of KPS Score(P<0.05).④Comparison in the change of Body Weight:After treatment, in the treatment group, 17cases increased in Body Weight,10 cases had no significant change,3 case decreased; in the control group,8 cases increased in Body Weight,12 cases had no significant change, 12 cases decreased, there is significant difference(P<0.05).⑤Comparison in the change of CEA and CA199:There is no significant differece in two groups before treatment (P>0.05); after treatment, in the treatment group, CEA had no significant change, CA199 singnificantly decreased(P<0.05); but there is no significant difference in two groups after treatment(P<0.05).⑥Comparison of Safetyahere is no singificant difference in safety in two groups(P<0.05).Conclusion:ShenQisan combined with the chemotherapy of LV/FU can improve the TCM clinical symptoms and the life quality of patients.
