Clinical Observation On Improving The Quality Of Life Of Postoperative Patients With Colorectal Cancer

Objective By observing the improvement of postoperative quality of life of patients with colorectal cancer by using the method of rising clear and reducing turbidity,the clinical efficacy was analyzed and evaluated,and the mechanism of action was discussed.Methods A total of 60 patients with colorectal cancer who were admitted to the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine of The Affiliated Hospital of Inner Mongolia Medical University and the Oncology Department of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January to December 2021 were selected.The two groups were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group.The observation group was treated with traditional Chinese medicine decoction of raising clear and reducing turbidity,and the control group was treated with conventional treatment of 0.9% NS500ml+splenic polypeptide injection 10 ml intravenous infusion.After one course of treatment,the quantitative score of TCM clinical symptoms,Karnofsky quality of life score,blood routine indexes and serum tumor markers were observed before and after treatment in the two groups.Statistical analysis was performed by statistical software SPSS22.0 to determine the efficacy.Result 1.TCM clinical symptoms score: the scores of TCM clinical main symptoms in the observation group decreased,with differences(P<0.01);In the control group,there was no significant difference in scores of secondary symptoms except "nausea and vomiting"(P>0.05),and other scores decreased(P<0.05),the difference was statistically significant.After treatment,there was no difference in the score of secondary symptoms between the two groups except "body wasting"(P>0.05),and the other observation groups were lower than the control group(P<0.05),the difference was statistically significant.2.Total curative effect of TCM syndrome: the total effective rate of the observation group was 83%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 57%.The total curative effect of the observation group was better than the control group(P<0.05).3.Karnofsky quality of life score: The scores of both the observation group and the control group were improved,and the scores of the observation group were better than the control group after treatment(P<0.01),the difference was statistically significant.4.Blood routine indexes: The levels of WBC,hemoglobin and platelets in the observation group were increased(P<0.01),while the other two items in the control group were increased(P<0.05)except "hemoglobin",the difference was statistically significant.After treatment,there was no difference in platelet(P>0.05),leukocyte and hemoglobin(P<0.05),and the difference was statistically significant.5.There was no significant change in the level of tumor markers in 2 groups after treatment compared with before treatment(P>0.05),and the difference was not statistically significant.Conclusion The TCM method of promoting clear and reducing turbidity has better clinical efficacy than spleen polypeptide injection in alleviating clinical symptoms,improving physical condition and improving blood routine indexes of patients after colorectal cancer surgery,which can effectively improve patients’ quality of life.
