Method Of Chifengyingyuan Treatment Shoulder Periarthritis Of Clinical Effect Observation

PurposeWith a randomized controlled study, this subject objectively evaluated the clinical effect of treating shoulder periarthritis through Method of Chifengyingyuan, so as to find a new idea and an effective program for the treatment of frozen shoulder.MethodAccording to visiting sequence,70 cases meeting to the standard were randomly divided into experimental group and treatment group through the random number table,35 cases in each group. The general information about these two groups has no significant statistical differences (P>0.05) and they are comparable. Selected LI15(jian yu), SI9(jian zhen), jian qian, SI11 (tian zong), GB34(yang ling quan), zhong ping, and the experimental group received needling method of Method of Chifengyingyuan on the points of LI15(jian yu), SI9(jian zhen), jian qian for one time, with one needling manipulation in every five minutes since needles were retained and three times in all, and then needles inserted in SI11 (tian zong), GB34 (ydng ling quan) and zhong ping were being retained for thirty minutes as the sensation of qi arrived after twirling method. As to the control group, all the points were operated with even supplementation and drainage method for one time, and the needles were manipulated once in every five minutes, three times for manipulation and thirty minutes for needle retention. Both groups were treated once a day and six times for a course, continuing with the next course after a day's rest and two courses were completed altogether. After the whole courses, Observed the curative effect of two groups of patients changes, scored for symptoms and signs of the shoulder joint and graded its effect from pain, ADL, muscle strength, shoulder joint activity degree and other aspects.ResultsIn both groups, clinical symptom such as overall score, shoulder joint pain, muscle strength, activities of daily living and degree of shoulder joint activity were markedly improved after treatment and in the follow-up (P<0.05). Comparing the control group with the experimental group, changes of the overall efficacy rate after treatment and in the follow-up had statistical significance (P＜0.05); Activity in muscle strength and the shoulder joint activities, after treatment and in follow-up the change, had statistical significant (P<0.05). Effect comparison:in treatment group, the treatment rate, obvious effective rate and effective rate were 14.3% ,51.4% and 20.0% respectively and total effective rate was 85.7%; control group 8.6%,22.9% and 48.6% respectively and total effective rate 80.0%, By comparing both groups, changes of the treatment group had statistical significance (P<0.05).ConclusionsTreating shoulder periarthritis through the compound needling method of Method of Chifengyingyuan can reduce shoulder joint pain obviously, improve the ability of shoulder joint daily activity, increase muscle strength and enhance the shoulder joint activity degree, so the treatment possesses excellent effect.
