Ischemic Stroke Diagnostic Criteria (Industry Standard) Research

ObjectiveSince 1996, the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine developed industry standard Diagnosis and Treatment Evaluation Criteria of Stroke, the diagnostic criteria, syndrome diagnostic criteria and staging criteria of stroke have not yet been revised. This study is to revise diagnostic criteria illness diagnostic criteria and staging criteria for stroke disease firstly, in accordance with the requirements and procedures of National Standardization Law, standardization principals and guidelines, based on industry standards of the year 1996, combined with the relevant content the of Guide to Traditional Chinese Medicine Treatment of Internal Diseases. TCM Syndrome Part published by Chinese Medical Association in 2008.Methods1. In accordance with the requirements and procedures of National Standardization Law, standardization principals and guidelines, and with the requirements of the drafting stage, based on the summary of status quo of stroke disease name research and the need for diagnostic standard of ischemic stroke disease name, the study reviewed the literature, organized the origins of disease name of stroke, raised the key issues, performed the first round of expert consultation, built the standards draft framework.According to the consensus of first round of consultation by experts, as well as questions and comments, further review of the literature and expert consultation was held in the hospital, by adding, deleting, amending the items of consultation forms of the first round, expert consultation questionnaire and expert consultation of second round were performed.Integrating views of two rounds of expert consultation and using the standard template TCS2010 China as writing tools, based on industry standards of 1994, combined with the related content of Guide to Traditional Chinese medicine Treatment of Internal Diseases TCM Syndrome part published by Chinese Medical Association in 2008, revised diagnostic criteria of stroke disease name, and convoked working group meetings in hospital periodically, formed consensus text, proposed comment manuscript of standard draft.2. In accordance with requirements and task of the comment phase, set up an expert advisory group, distributed the comment manuscript to take adivice. According to the returned opinions, the draft was summarized, analyzed, and modified, and finally submitting manuscript was performed.Results1. Based on industry standards of 1996, amended the terminology standard of stroke, ischemic stroke, hemorrhagic stroke etc; revised diagnostic criteria of stroke disease name, diagnostic criteria of classification and staging, and increased the name diagnosis of complications of stroke.2. In strict accordance with the requirements and procedure of standardization principals and guidelines, completed the submitting manuscript of industry standards.
