Peroxidases are an Important class of iron Porphyrin-containing enzymes, they catalyze Substrate oxidations used hydrogen peroxide, but the Therapeutical potential of natural Peroxidases is limited by their Scarce solubility, instability, cost and other factors. In our Previous work,we designed a novel Peroxidase Mimics Deuterohaemin-Ala-His-Thr-Val-Glu-Lys(DhHP-6)and Investigated its Peroxidase Activity and Anti-cataract activity In vitro. The peroxidase Activity of DhHP-6 is very similar to that of MP-11,yet DhHP-6 has very good water Solubility, stability and its Chemical synthsis is much more Simple. This paper use C. elegans as a model organism to establish two simple models of heat stress to investigate the effect of a synthetic mimics of peroxidase ,DhHP-6 ,for the survival rate and lifespan in both heat circumstances.Experiments proved that whether at 30℃or 35℃,DhHP-6 have a protective effect on the wild type of C.elegans under the heat stress in a sir-2.1 and daf-16 independent way . Furthermore this experiment explore which pathway the heat protective effect of the DhHP-6 for C.elegans may be adopted and propose a possible mechanism :The present of DhHP-6 can decrease the high oxidation level caused by heat shock and accelerate the main response to stress by shortening the time for HSP's up-regulation.
