| Background of the research:Since the overspread of AIDS,the male homosexual behaviour group has become one of the high-risk groups of HIV infection,and it has been taken as the key object of AIDS prevention. However,due to the influence of China's traditional culture,people have been afraid of talking about sexual topics publicly for a long time,let alone the male homosexual behaviour. Particularly for the homosexual group has long been regard in the society as "heterodoxy""special"even"pervert" to be discriminated,excluded or striked. Even in the medical fraternity,it was not until 2001 did the homosexual have been excluded from mental disease. So usually the homosexual act group doesn't want to betray their sexual orientation,living in the edge between reality and real self. As the high-risk group,MSM refers to men who have sex with man,include male homosexual(gay),male bisexual(Bi) and male heterosexual who have contact with the same sex.In recent years,apart from the drug users and female sex workers,MSM group has become one of main groups of HIV infection concerned by people. In the news briefing of Report of the Global AIDS Epidemic, 2009 and prospect of AIDS in 2010 held in ShangHai in November 24,2009, Michelle. Sidibe,the UNAIDS Executive Director and the UN Deputy Secretary General,announced the latest news of the AIDS epidemic: in China's mainland,the date indicate that 32 percent of the HIV infection discovered last year is male homosexual,and 40 percent comes from heterosexual act. But the date announced in 2006 told that 40.6 percent of the discovered infector is heterosexual infection and 11.1 percent is homosexual. The proportion of homosexual infection rose from 11.1 percent to 32 percent in just 3 years. MSM group have a certain infection level and a certain group,the risk of the AIDS's spread could not be neglected. At the same time,among the MSM group, there are some people have sex with male as well as female,which is a main bridge of the HIV spread between high-risk group and common group. At present, some cities in China such as Beijing, Guangzhou, Harbin, Shenzhen, Dalian, Shenyang and other big cities have been carried out MSM group HIV epidemiological investigation It is understood that there has not yet been developed a vaccine that could cure HIV very well,but the related experts expressed:"health education is the best "vaccine" that could prevent HIV at the present stage."AIDS is not terrible,the best measure to prevent and control AIDS is to master AIDS knowledge and change bad behaviour. In order to know about this region's MSM group's knowledge about AIDS, venereal disease and their individual act, to develop pertinent interventions,and provide scientific foundation for the comprehensive prevent strategy of AIDS,we carried out a questionnaire about MSM group in KaiFeng in 2010 .Aim of the research:According to KaiFeng's MSM group's knowledge,attitude,behaviour about AIDS to survey and analyse,to provide some advices for KaiFeng's AIDS prevention and cure. Method of the research:Staffs of this survey mainly comes from volunteers,volunteers must be recruited from MSM group,to publish recruit annunciation and filter and decide from the volunteers who fill in the application. To carried out the questionnaire through the method of snowball and convenience sampling.(illiterates can have other volunteers to fill in for them)Result of the research:1.Demographic characteristicsAge: the team less than 20 years old:21 person(14.4 percent), the team greater than or up to 20 years old and less than 30 years old:73 person(50 percent), the team greater than or up to 30 years old and less than 40 years old:36 person(24.7 percent), the team greater than 40 years old:16 person(11 percent),among them,the youngest is 14 years old,the oldest is 51 years old;Marital status: unmarried: 95 person(65.1 percent),married: 36 person(24.7 percent),divorced or widowed: 15 person(10.3 percent);Education: illiterate:3 person(2.1 percent),primary:1 person(0.7 percent),junior:14 person(9.6 percent),high school:44 person(30.1 percent),junior college:53 person(36.3 percent),undergraduate or above:31 person(21.2 percent);Domicile place: urban district of KaiFeng:95 person(65.1 percent),five county of KaiFeng:39 person(26.7 percent),other city of HeNan:7 person(4.8 percent),other province:5 person(3.4 percent);Profession: worker:20 person(13.7 percent),student:38 person(26 percent),private entrepreneur:25 person(17.1 percent),driver:9 person(6.2 percent),cadre or clerk:7 person(4.8 percent).2. Knowledge Their awareness about AIDS that whether mosquito bite could spread HIV is relatively low,only 82 person can answer this question correctly,which take 56.2 percent of the whole. Awareness about other ways of transmission like blood,motherhood and shared needling instrument is relatively high,the proportion is 88.4 percent,88.4 percent,89.7percent. As for "which is the most high-risk sexual behaviour about HIV transmission among homosexual sexual contact?",133(91.1 percent) person's answer is the anal sex that doesn't applied to safety,there are only 2 person's answer is the anal sex with oil-based lubricants and condom. The awareness of the knowledge have something with the way to get AIDS which comes from television and doctors.3. Attitude If there is some feeling about the possibility to get AIDS,there are 108 of them choose to go to hospital or disease control department to be detected,there are 31(21.2) of them don't know whether they will go to be detected,and there are 7 person choose not to do so. There are 94 person scared when they hear AIDS,which accounted 64.4 percent of the whole number, and 37 person do not scared,and there are also 15 person don't have any feeling when heard AIDS.4. Behaviour The youngest first sexual behaviour age is 11 years old,and the oldest is 40. The team of first sexual behaviour age less or equal to 20 years old:112 person(76.6 percent),the team of the age between 20 to 30 years old:30 person (20.6 percent),the team of the age greater than 30 years old:4 person(2.7 percent). There are 120 (82.2 percent)person's first sexual behaviour object is male,and 26(17.8) person's object is female,and there are 85 person's sense of their first sexual behaviour of homosexual is enjoy,and then 43(29.5 percent) person just take it as a curious attempt.Conclusion:The age is young,the majority profession is student,their awareness about high-risk behaviour is low,and they don't have enough knowledge about the risk of various sexual behaviour. There are many sex partner and a low utilization rate of condom. They are under a lot of pressure from the society and their own family because of their homosexual behaviour;most of their first homosexual sex behaviour is not because they like it, but because they are curious about it or they are forced.The awareness of the knowledge have something with the way to get AIDS which comes from television and doctors. There have no prominent difference about the AIDS related knowledge between the procreative group and the unprocreative group;the AIDS related behaviour have some statistically significance.Policy proposal:First, the school should strengthen the public education about the knowledge relating to the AIDS.Second, to establish the laws and regulations of the homosexuality.Third, to develop the volunteers and make full use of the function of the MSM civil organization.Forth, to develop the utilization ratio of the VCT service and set up the special VCT enquiry points of the MSM.Fifth, to provide the free condom and to install the automatic machine to sell the condom so as to develop the accessibility of the condom.
