Objective:To study the value of PSS in evaluating poisoning degree and predicting prognosis. Confirmed that PSS can accurately reflect the severity of poisoning, and the scoring is simple, intuitive handling all types of acute poisoning in emergency patients can replace the relatively complicated APACHE-II score system, thus poisoning the first time to make all kinds of scientific assessment of the severity and prognosis. Methods:Retrospective investigation of a three Grade A large hospital emergency department from September 2005 to September 2008 period were treated in 20 different patients were 225 cases of poisoning.225 patients admitted to hospital immediately after the PSS score and the APACHE-â…¡score, and then two sets of data were the consistency test, rank sum test, correlation analysis and the exact probability test. With P<0.05 as statistically significant. Results:PSS and APACHE-â…¡score is very significant consistency (P<0.01), PSS and APACHE-â…¡score value and length of hospital stay was significant correlation (P<0.01). PSS score values of the different incidence of complications was statistically significant, the different values of APACHE-â…¡score and the complication rate was statistically significant. PSS and APACHE-â…¡score was not correlated with the toxic speciesConclusion:PSS score system in patients with acute poisoning poisoning severity assessment and prognosis of patients with APACHE-â…¡has the same value, can be used for emergency diagnosis and treatment of rapid judgments. |
