The Literature Investigation And Case Studies Of Insomnia With Blood Stasis

Purpose:In the research we generalized the pathogenesis of insomnia with blood stasis and described the distribution of symptoms and the composition of the rules and characteristics of the insomnia patients with symptoms of blood stasis by way of reviewing literature and analysising cases.Method:Literature research method and frequency analysis.Results:There were 300 articles and 122 cases qualified and involved. The clinical features of insomnia with blood stasis were, summarized as follows:①Women's incidence rate of blood stasis insomnia is higher than men's;the age of 30-59 years have the highest incidence rate; the course of the disease was longer and the common methods of treatment were invalid.②The main symptom was difficulty falling asleep, some others such as easy to wake up or wake up early, wake up can not sleep also can be seen,further more some severe cases will behave sleepless through the night.③70% patients appeard blood stasis signs uch as stabbing pain, tongue with petechia,sublingual varices, dull complexion,black eye, pale purple,rough skin, cyanotic lips, sweat stain on chest and back, freckles, female menstrual disorder history,history of injury, hemiplegia,limb numbness,head numbness.④Accompanying symptoms such as dizziness, dreams, headache or swollen head, poor appetite, palpitations, fatigue, poor memory low spirit, dry mouth, nausea,chest pain, constipation, emotional depression, sadness, indifference, upset, irritability, impatience,anxiety-based were most common.⑤Tongue with dark red, red, purple, dark purple,dark, light dark were most common.⑥Tongue with white, thin, or thin white, thin and yellow, yellow greasy tongue coating or no coating were most common.⑦Pulse:thecombination of string, astringent, heavy, thin were most common.⑧Insomnia with blood stasis was ofen combined with many other forms,in which heat syndrome,qi stagnation,qi deficiency were most common. Tow or three syndrome joint tegether were most common,and syndrome of qi stagnation and blood stasis, syndrome of qi stagnation and blood stasis and qi deficiency, syndrome of qi stagnation and blood stasis and heat were most common.Conclusion:Blood stasis is one of the most important pathological factors which lead to insomnia and can be caused by qi deficiency,qi stagnation,yin deficiency,phlegm,heat,yang deficiency or trauma.There are many different symptoms,but difficulty falling asleep and blood stasis signs are the most characteristic ones,...
