| Objective:To evaluate the clinical efficacy of acupuncture by using buried-needle and investigate the mechanism, observe the effect of clinical symptoms, signs, pulmonary function and the concentration of IL-8 on bronchial asthma patient who were treated by buried-needle acupuncture. At last, provide the theoretical basis to treat this disease.Methrod:Divide patients into two groups randomly .There are 33 patients for treatment group and 32 patients for control group treated 42 days.Observe the clinical symptoms, signs, pulmonary function and the concentration of IL-8 before and after the treatment.Results:1.The total effective rate is 93.9%.There is a significant effect.2.The symptoms and signs are improved in two groups. The symptom of short-breath are improved in the treatment group(P <0.05).Other symptoms have no significant differences (P>0.05).3.The value of FEV1,FVC and PEF are increased significantly than before in the two group(P<0.05 ).4.After treatment, the level of IL-8 are decreased in the two group. There are significant differences than before in the treatment group(P<0.05).There are significant differences than before in the control group(P<0.05).The treatment group is better than the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion:1.The symptoms and signs of bronchial asthma patient can be controlled by using buried-needle acupuncture. The clinical efficacy is significant.2.The pulmonary function in patients can be improved by using buried-needle acupuncture. The clinical results are significant.3.Bronchial asthma can be treated by buried-needle acupuncture through lowering the IL-8 levels in order to reduce the inflammatory cells and mediators. That may be the mechanism in treating bronchial asthma by using buried-needle acupuncture. |
