The Observation Of NGF And GAP-43 Level In The Serum Of High-norma Blood Pressure People With Different Fasting Blood-Glucose Levels.

Objective:To observe the level of the nerve growth factor(NGF) and growth associatedprotein 43 (GAP-43) in serum between people of normal blood pressure and people ofhigh-normal blood pressure with fasting blood-glucose changes.Methods:According to the 2005 China Hypertension Prevention Guidelines, 200 healthypeople who haven't taken antihypertensive drug previously, in this thesis, are divided intotwo groups after check-up. One is high-normal blood pressure group (n=140). The otheris normal blood pressure group(n=60). And according to their fasting blood-glucose level,they are divided into 3 groups : Group A [normal blood pressure﹢fasting blood-glucose＜5.6mmol/L,n=60], Group B [high-normal blood pressure﹢fasting blood-glucose＜5.6mmol/L,n=70] and Group C [high-normal blood pressure﹢impaired fasting glycaemia(IFG)(6.9mmol/L＞fasting blood-glucose＞5.6mmol/L), n=70]. The NGF and GAP-43level of all people are measured by ELISA.Results:(1)The statistical significance is obvious by comparing the differences of NGFin the 3 groups (F=2.604,P=0.036); Through comparing GAP-43 in 3 groups, thedifferences have statistical significance(F=5.901, p=0.019).(2)The Age,SBP, DBP, BMI, total cholesterol, triglyceride and LDL-C levels inGrup B and Grup C were obvious higher than in Grup A (P<0.05);The fasting bloodglucose in Grup C was obvious higher than in Grup A and Grup B (P<0.01);There was nostatistical significance by HDL-C levels in three Grups (P>0.05).(3)Pearson correlation analysis shows that there is an overall positive correlationbetween the NGF and GAP-43 (r=0.600,P<0.01) .(4)Multiple variables regression analysis showed NGF and GAP-43 wereinfluenced by Systolic blood pressure and Dialated blood pressure.Conclusion:(1)The levels of NGF and GAP-43 were elevated in high normal blood2 pressure stage, suggesting that there may have been the early sympathetic neuralremodeling changes.(2)The levels of NGF and GAP-43 were higher in people of HNBP with IFGthan people of HNBP without IFG , but there was no statistical significance.(3)Three groups of serum NGF and GAP - 43 statistically significant changescaused by different blood pressure level, in which diastolic blood pressure level influenceprimarily.(4)Blood pressure levels may increase with age changed.(5)HNBP has been in existence from Abnormal glucose and lipid metabolismin early stage.
