| Objective:To observe the clinical effect of pedicle screw system internal fixation in treating thoracolumbar fractures and explore its safety and credibility. Method:31cases of thoracolumbar fractures were treated with pedicle screw system internal fixation. With dislocation of vertebrae reduction, the upper and lower vertebral pedicle screws on the conventional implant respectively, connecting the upper and lower pedicle screws with the pre-bend the connection rod, and vertebral body height to gradually return to normal, observe the complictions on and after operation, the recorrection of vertebrae height and Cobb angle and vertebrae stricture, the comeback of nerve function. Evaluate the curative effect. Result:The patients were followed-up for 6-24 months,13 months averagely. No patient has complications on and after operation. The curative effect of more than 80% patients is excellent and more than 90% patients is fine. Conclusion:Pedicle screw internal fixation is a safe,reliable and effective alternative in treating thoracolumbar fractures. |
