| Objective:to evaluate the value of color Doppler flow image in limb atherosclerosis of diabetes mellitus by interventional therapy before and after,through the comparison with CTA.Methods:We enrolled 20 patients who received intervention therapy because of limb atherosclerosis of diabetes mellitus in our hospital and 20 healthy control group.We gave them the conventional color Doppler ultrasound examination three days before and after surgery. Then we recorded the lesion information of wesslel diameter(VD),intima-media thickness (IMT),patch size,the parameters of the color doppler and the spectral doppler which include peak flow velocity resistance index(RI), pulsatility index (PI),and blood flow volume etc in femoral artery (CFA) superficial femoral artery(SFA), popliteal artery(POA),posterior tibial artery(PTA),anterior tibial artery(ATA) and dorsalis pedis artery(DPA).To collect the test results of DSA,and compare with color Dopplor befor surgery.Also we compared the test results of color Dopplor with CTA after surgery. To assess the value of color Doppler in evaluation of effectiveness of vessel interventional therapy.Results:1.Through the examination of diabetic patients with lower limb atherosclerosis,we found that there were obvious differences between patients with lower limb atherosclerosis and normal contrast group in imt of blood vessels, plaques existed or not and hemodynamic parameters. Lesions were likely locating at the posterior tibial artery,anterior tibial artery.2.The Color Doppler ultrasound plays an important role on evaluating the curative effect of diabetic arteriosclerosis after Intervention. There were significant changes in the parameters of the arteries after therapy.3. Based on the examination results of DSA,the sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of color doppler were 80.1%,83.4%,80% respectively.4. There were no significant differences in the results of Ultrasono-graphy and CTA in the analysis after the surgery. (p>0.25)Conclusion:1. High-frequency ultrasound holds a high value not only in diagnosis of diabetic arteriosclerosis but also in the therapeutic efficacy of intervention therapy.There are no significant differences between color doppler and CTA, but a good correlation existed between the two evaluation methods.2. The High-frequency ultrasound parameters (flow velocity, blood flow per unit area) are more than DSA of diabetic arteriosclerosis. Further more the High-frequency ultrasound is convenient for follow-up study after interventional treatment.3. As the reason of that the color Doppler ultrasound examination is an visualized, no n-invasived, painless, inexpensive, accurate, higher repeatability diagnostic techniques, it and deeply approbative and acceptable by a great deal of patient. |
