Objective:To explore the color Doppler ultrasound on diabetic arteriosclerosis diagnostic significance, diabetes patients with arteriosclerosis characteristics, analysis the independent risk factors of atherosclerotic plaque formation and lower extremity arterial wall calcification. Methods:from the Qingdao endocrine and diabetes hospital inpatients and healthy crowd randomly selected 158 patients with diabetes and 130 patients with non diabetic population are examined.Use color Doppler ultrasound examination of the neck arteries and lower extremity arteries, measurement of artery diameter, intima-media thickness, systolic peak velocity, resistance index, plaque and plaque, with and without arterial wall calcification, and surveyed the crowd were smoking history, history of diabetes and other clinical data and height, weight, blood pressure anthropometric indices measured, and blood glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin, cholesterol, triglycerides and other biochemical index test. SPSS16.0 on the results were statistically analyzed, the differences between groups were compared using analysis of variance and independent sample t test, different parts of plaque incidence were compared using the chi-square test, arterial stiffness and risk factors study using Logistic regression analysis. P<0.05 for the difference was statistically significant. Results:the diabetic group body weight, fasting blood glucose, postprandial two hour blood glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin of diabetes group were significantly increased (P<0.05). The diabetic group and internal diameter of carotid artery, intima-media thickness of common carotid artery, internal carotid artery, internal carotid artery internal diameter and thickness, carotid artery resistance index, subclavian artery diameter, inner diameter of femoral artery, popliteal artery intima-media thickness and other parameters increased significantly between the two groups, the difference was significant (P>0.05). The common carotid artery intima-media thickness increased significantly (P =0). The diabetic group common carotid, subclavian artery, femoral artery plaque was significantly higher than that in normal group (P<0.05) according to the carotid artery plaque occurrence of different parts, divided into three groups:the left common carotid artery bifurcation plaque group, the right common carotid artery bifurcation plaque, plaque group innominate artery bifurcation. After the chi-square test:three plaque incidence differences were not statistically significant (P>0.05). The arterial wall plaque are divided into soft plaque morphea group, group, mixed plaque group, through the analysis of variance, the results are as follows:the diabetes group and non-diabetic group plaque had no significant difference (P>0.05). Logistic regression analysis, the results show, age, systolic blood pressure, smoking history, glycosylated hemoglobin, cholesterol is an independent risk factor for atherosclerosis. Age, two hour postprandial blood glucose for lower limb arterial wall calcification independent risk factors.Conclusion:1 Diabetic patients with cervical artery and lower extremity arterial wall diameter, intima-media thickness than the normal population increase, with carotid artery intima media thickness in particular increased to.2 Patients with diabetes mellitus atherosclerosis plaque was significantly higher than that in normal group, but no significant differences in plaque.3 Innominate artery bifurcation atherosclerotic plaque is of good location, clinical and color Doppler examination should not be neglected.4 Age, hypertension, smoking, perennial glycosylated hemoglobin increased, increased cholesterol and other factors contribute to the formation of atherosclerosis. Increasing age, two hour postprandial hyperglycemia contributes to lower extremity arterial wall calcification occurs.
