| Rhizomes of Zingiber officinale Roscoe is a herbaceous plant with many-year life from Zingiberaceae, mainly distributed in the province of southwest in China. Its dried rhizomes has been used as common folk medcines for the treatment of cold, cough and vomit for many centuries. The studies on the chemical constituents of Zingiber officinale Roscoe has been conducted previously, and many compounds have been reported since 1960s'. In order to develop new medicinal resources, the rhizomes of Zingiber officinale Roscoe was subject to detailed phytochemical studies in this thesis.Three new compounds,1,3-(ω-feruloxydiceratyl)glycerols(8),1,2-(ω-ferulox-ydiceratyl)glycerols(9),3-methyl-2-(7-methylhept-11-en-2-yl)cyclohex-3-ene-1,5-dio 1 (10), along with seventeen known compounds,6-gingerol (1),8-gingerol (2), 10-gingerol (3),6-shagaol (4),10-shagaol (5),5S-hydroxy-1,7-bis(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)-3-heptanon(6), 1-(ω-feruloxyceratyl)glycerols (7), Maleimide-5-oxi-me (11),3-Methyl-maleimide-5-oxime(12),β-Sitosterol(13),β-Sitosterol-3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (14), Isovanillin (15), glycol monopalmitate (16), hexacosanoic acid 2,3-dihydroxypropyl ester (17),β-Sitosterol palmitate (18), adenine (19), p-hydroxybenzaldehyde (20), were isolated from the EtOH:H2O (80:20) extract of the rhizome of Zingiber officinale Roscoe by means of chromatography and i-dentified by spectroscopic methods. Incidentally, compounds7,11,12,15, 16,17,18,19,20 were isolated from the Zingiber officinale Roscoe for the first time.Corydalis yanhusuo W.T. Wang is one of the main plants of the Corydalis f-amily, which can be used for pain, angiocardiopathy, diabetes, and so on. In thi-s paper, thirteen compounds were obtained from 80% alcohol extract of Corydali-s yanhusuo W.T.WANG, and they were detemined as Corydaline(1), Palmatine (2), Rahydrocoptisine (3), Tetrahydrocolumbamine (4), Protopine (5), Tetrahydrop -almatine (6), N, N-dimethyl-N', N'-dimethyl-diphenyl-one (7), N, N-dimethyl-N'-methyl-diphenyl-one (8), Tetrahydroberberine(9), Oxoglaucin (10),β-Sitosterol(11),β-Sitosterol-3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside(12), Pontevedrine(13). Compounds 7 and 8 we-re firstly isolated from Corydalis yanhusuo W.T. Wang.The1H NMR method was established for the fingerprinting of the rhizome of Zingiber officinale Roscoe and the roots of Corydalis yanhusuo W.T. Wang. T-he 1H NMR fingerprints of five samples of Zingiber officinale Roscoe collecte-d in different stages of the same place and six samples of Corydalis yanhus uo W.T. Wang from different regions were recorded on 1H NMR spectrometer. T-he characteristic signals of the'H NMR fingerprint was assigned through analyzi-ng the 1H NMR signals of every compound and comparing them with the CSPD. The rhizome of Zingiber officinale Roscoe and the roots of Corydalis yanhusuo W.T. Wang employed showed good identity to each other so far as the profile of the 1H NMR spectra of their CSPD and exhibited exclusive characteristic features in the composition of the 1H NMR signals, respectively. |
