Clinical Research On Position Manoeuvre And Traditional Chinese Medicine Treatment Of Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo In The Treatment

ObjectivesEvaluation of benign paroxysmal positional vertigo patients position manoeuvre and traditional Chinese medicine after 2 weeks of treatment efficacy, and with simple position manoeuvre compared to the initial observation of position manoeuvre and use of traditional Chinese medicine treatment of benign positional vertigo in patients with clinical effect, and cause its Chinese Pathogenesis be discussed.MethodsWill be from December 2008 to March 2010 in the Guangdong Provincial Hospital emergency rooms or outpatient neurology benign positional vertigo included 40 patients randomized single blind method consists of Postural Reduction with pure Chinese medicine treatment group and the control position manoeuvre group, patients were observed before and after treatment for 14 days, 3 months and accompanied by vertigo symptom score, the symptom score, attack level and efficacy evaluation of nystagmus, and the establishment of a database, usingχ2 test and t-test, to analysis of statistical data.ResultExperimental group and control group after treatment of vertigo symptom score, the difference was significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the symptom score, the difference was significant (P<0.05). After treatment, the attack level, the difference was significant (P<0.05).14 days after treatment, symptoms of nystagmus, the difference was no statistical significance (P> 0.05).3 months after treatment, symptoms of nystagmus, the difference was significant (P<0.05).ConclusionPostural reduction and traditional Chinese medicine treatment group than the control group simply reset the position.
