Artemisia Annua Liquid Anti-breast Cancer Effect Of Glycolysis

ObjectiveTo prepare the artemisinin and its derivatives as the main component of Artemisia annua glycolysis fluid, in vitro experiments and animal experiments to prove that a certain role in anti-human breast cancer and no apparent side effects, its next step in research scientific basis for the new use of old drugs to open a research idea.MethodsPreparation of fermented liquid Artemisia glycolysis, MTS assay solution to inhibit glycolysis Artemisia annua MCF-7 human breast cancer cell proliferation. Artemisia annua glycolysis fluid acts on human breast cancer xenografts in nude mice, then randomized, Artemisia annua glycolysis liquid group 10, and saline group (control group) 10. Observed the differences in tumor size before and after the drug were given.ResultsSuccessed to prepared glycolysis Artemisia annua, there is includ artemisinin which up to 18.7μg/g, dihydroartemisinin 2ug/g, artemether 67ug/g, in which the extraction of artemisinin was 29%. Artemisia annua glycolysis fluid can inhibit the proliferation of MCF-7 cells, the maximum inhibition rate was the highest inhibition rate of 86.7% and the lowest was 10%. Animal experiments confirmed that this fluid can slow down the fermentation of human breast cancer growth in nude mice, the fermented liquid to slow down the human breast cancer MDA-MB-231 xenograft tumor growth rate, the inhibition rate of 38.86% before and after treatment no significant change in body weight of nude mice.Conclusion This study shows that this glycolysis solution has some effect against breast cancer, without adverse effects.
