The community medical service is refers in community level of developments, take the community inhabitant as the object medical services. General practitioners are the force at the core among community health services. They have the ability to deal with common diseases, problems of individual, family, community and society. Developing the community general practitioners is equipped with active effect. For instance, the measures can control expenses of medical insurance, improve the relationship of doctor and patient and make full use of medical resource and so forth. Along with the reform of health care, development of urban community health service is not only the focus of the work of urban sanitation in our country, but also the important components of reform of primary health care. Although the community health services have undergone better development, the qualities and the number of general practitioners fall behind with medical demands, which restricted the work of community health services.On the basis of a comparative analysis of the model of training general practitioners at home and abroad through investigating literature, depth personal interviews were taken towards five persons from twenty-four general practitioners by standardized questionnaire for the basic conditions, training system, as well as the major difficulties faced in the development of community health services. On the basis of analyzing the human resource to explore training means of general practitioners. Then this article provides introspections and advice in order to heighten the quality of human resource, which can promote the sustainable development of community health services.
