Retrospective analysis 4 cases'clinical data operative technique and complications of duodenum-preserving pancreatic head resection in our hospital from October 2008 to June 2009.ResultsAdopted improved duodenum-preserving pancreatic head resection. Simplify the operation procedure compared with Beger's DPPHR. The average length of stay was 16.5d and the patient fasted 5-9d after operation. One case has pancreatic fistula and recovery after conservative treatment. One case has biliary stricture and recovered after endoscopic biliary stent indwelling. Pathology report:one case was insulinoma, one case was intraductal papilloma and two case were solid pseudopapillary tumor of pancreas. Followed up for 12 to 18 months, Four patient increased in weight for 1.5 to 8Kg compared with preoperative. Blood glucose both were in the normal range.ConclusionDuodenum-preserving pancreatic head resection is a security operative technique for benign and low malignant tumor of pancreatic head.
