The Diagnosis And Treatment Experience Of Bilateral Adrenal Tumors

ObjectiveThe objective of this study is to improve diagnosis and treatment of bilateral adrenal tumors.MethodsAnalyze the clinical data of 35 patients with bilateral adrenal tumors who were treated from 2002 to 2009.Results16 cases nonfunctional bilateral adrenal tumors include 5 cases bilateral adrenal pheochromocytomas,2 cases unilateral adrenal pheochromocytomas with offside adrenocortical adenomas.and 9 cases bilateral adrenal cortical adenomas.Functional bilateral adrenal tumors include 7 cases bilateral adrenal aldosteronomas,8 cases bilateral adrenal cortisol adenomas and bilateral adrenal Pheochromocytomas.ConclusionsThe qualitative diagnosis of bilateral adrenal tumors depends on comprehensive evaluation with clinical symptoms and signs, Laboratory examination results,and imaging findings.The treatment of bilateral adrenal tumors depends on surgery.
