| ObjectiveTo evaluate the rate of procedural success, complications and outcome in type B aortic dissection. Methods and ResultsWe select 15 articles about type B aortic dissection in medline with 807 patients. After analysis of all available data, procedural success was 97.5%, minor complications was 17.4%, sever complications was 4.5%, stroke was 1.2%, paraplegia was 1.2%, mortality in 30 day was 3.8%, secondary treatment was 2.4%, aortic rupture or retrograde aortic dissection formation in following-up was 3.4%, mortality in following-up was 4.16%, the longest time of following-up was 48.3 month, the shortest time of following-up was 12 month.ConclusionEndovascular stent-graft therapy for type B aortic dissection was feasible. It was another selection with little complications. But the shortage was no good RCTs and following-up. It was necessary to study the difference with other treatments furtherly. |
