Objective: To investigate the expression and correlation of MCM7,HPV16,18E6 in lung squamous cell carcinoma . Further more,to explore the possibility to investigate the prognoses of lung carcinoma patients using these indacators in clinical work. Methods: The expressions of MCM7,HPV16,18E6 in lung squamous cell carcinoma tissues were detected by immunohistochemistry and their correlations with cliniopathologic factors were analyzed.Result: The positive rates of HPV16,18E6 were significantly higher in lung squamous cell carcinoma than non-cancerous lung disease (P<0.01). The expression level of HPV16,18E6 had no correlations with the gender, size, age, pathologic TNM stage, histologic type, and the Lymph node status (P>0.05). No statistical differences was found between well differentiation group and moderate differentiation group (P>0.05). The positive rates of MCM7 were significantly higher in lung squamous cell carcinoma than non-cancerous lung tissues (P<0.001). No correlations were found between the expression level of MCM7 with the gender, size and age (P>0.05). However, the expression level of MCM7 was correlated with the differentiation of lung squamous cell carcinoma (P<0.05). Poor differentiation group had statistical difference in the expression level of MCM7 (P<0.05) with moderate and well differentiation group. The expression level of MCM7 was correlated with the pathologic TNM stage of lung squamous cell carcinoma (P<0.05). The ealier pathologic TNM stage group (I,II)and latter pathologic TNM stage group(III,IV) had significant statistical difference (P<0.05). There were positive correlation between the expression of MCM7 with HPV16,18E6 (spearman coefficient correlation:0.701,P<0.001).Conclusion: The expression levels of protein HPV16,18E6 were higher in the lung squamous cell carcinoma (46.67%) than in non-cancerous lung disease (6.67%). The expression level of MCM7 was correlated with the tumor differentiation and the pathologic TNM stage in the lung squamous cell carcinoma. There were positive correlation between the expression level of protein MCM7 with HPV16,and 18E6. HPV16,18E6 and MCM maybe helpful for diagnosis and good prognostic factors for survival in lung squamous cell carcinoma.
