ObjectiveTo explore the relevant factors of"wearing-off"(a kind of motor complications) and to explore the best way of treatment in parkinsonian patients.MethodsA case-control study of 68 patients with Parkinson taking levodopa (LD) were analied. The mainly analysed were age, sex, disease duration, dosage of levodopa (LD),duration of LD treatment, history of smoking and drinking and relation to wearing-off.ResultsMulti-factor non-conditional Logistic regression analysis showed that levodopa (LD) application time, drinking and end of dose phenomenon was positively correlated (P<0.05)ConclusionDuration of LD treatment and history of drinking were independent factors for the development of wearing-off. Further explanation of non-pharmacological factors such as living habits may also be involved in the occurrence of motor complications of Parkinson's disease. |
