| Objective:To investigate the condition of depression and anxiety for patients diagnosed with coronary heart disease(CHD)in order to offer the basis for psychological support and specific treatment. M ethods:Zung depressive self evaluation scale(SDS), Zung anxicous self evaluation scale(SAS), Hamilton anxiety scale(HAMA), Hamilton depression scale(HAMD), were used to perform a survey on 120 patients diagnosed with coronary heart disease(CHD). Results:The results of Zung self evaluation scale are depression occurred in 57.2%(71 cases) while anxiety occurred in 65.0%(78 cases)of 120 patients diagnosed with CHD. The results of Hamilton evaluation scale are depression occurred in 61.7%(74 cases) while anxiety occurred in 71.7%(86 cases)of 120 patients diagnosed with CHD. The results between self evaluation scale and Hamilton evaluation scale are not with significant difference (P>0.05).Conclusion:The incidence of depression for patients diagnosed with(CHD)was higher. So it is important for physician to think much of the treatment of depression and anxiety while treating body diseases in order to get good treatment efficacy. |
