Study Of Correlationship Between The Sleep Quality,Mental Health And Cerebral Blood Flow Of Soldiers In Plateau Force

[Objective] This paper aims to discuss the sleep quality of soldiers, mental health condition, cerebral blood flow index, under the environment of altitude hypoxia, and the mutuality between them, through questionnaires to the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) , Self-Rating Anxiey Scsle (SAS) and Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS) of the soldiers stationed in Diqing-Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, and the Transcranial Doppler (TCD) check-ups.[Methods] Using a random sample method, number a certain army stationed in Diqing in sequence by company, then take at random four companies of healthy male soldiers in active service, all together 101(17-28years old), as the object of study; according to the score of PSQI, they will be devided into two groups, namely: the normal group: the grade of PSQI≤7 groups (68 popele) , dyssomnia group: the grade of PSQI>7groups (33 people) . At last, through the Psychological test and Transcranial Doppler (TCD) check-up, using the SPSS11.5, the datas will be studied by classification, analysis and contrast.[Results] 1. 33 of the 101 soldiers have dyssomnia, the incidence rate reaching 32.67%, the average score of PSQI of the total 101 soldiers is 6.11, while that of the normal group is 3.99 and that of the dyssomnia group is 10.48. There is a marked difference between the two groups in their scores in aspects of the subjective sleep quality, sleep time, sleep efficiency, sleep disorders,and daytime dysfunction(p<0.01), the differentiation of scores in the aspect of hypnotic drugs is not statistically significant(p>0.05).2. For the 101 soldiers, the Original Score of SAS is 26.79±8.49, and the Standard score is 33.55±10.59; the Original Score of SDS is 26.22±7.35, and the Standard score is 32.89±9.22. Among the 101 soldiers, five people Anxiety occured, which accounts for 4.95%; three people Depression occured, which accounts for 2.97%. In the groups with the grade of dyssomnia group (33 people) , three people Anxiety occured, which accounts for 9.09% , three Depression occured, which accounts for 9.09%; In the normal group (68 popele), two people Anxiety occured, which accounts for 2.94% , and no one Depression occurred.3. Through the comparision of the blood flow index of TCD between the two groups, namely, the L,R of MCA,ACA,PCA,VA and BA, the differentia of the five TCD index of Vp,Vd,Vm,PI,RI in MCA (L),MCA (R),ACA (L),ACA (R),PCA (L),PCA (R),VA (L) is not statistically significant (p>0.05) ,while the differentia of the PI value of BA and the Vd,Vm of VA (R) is statistically significant4. Through the comparision of the blood flow index of TCD in the normal group between the two sides of MCA,ACA,PCA,VA and BA, the differentia of the five TCD index in VA is statistically significant(p<0.05). Then dyssomnia group between the two sides of MCA,ACA,PCA,VA and BA, the differentia of the Vd and Vm value of VA is statistically significant(p<0.05).5. Through the numerical difference comparision of the blood flow index of TCD in two sides(L/R) artery of two groups, the differentia of the numerical difference ofMCA,MCA,ACA,VA is not statistically significant(p>0.05).6. Through the correlationship analysis of the blood flow index of TCD in the two groups, a significant positive correlation was found between the score of PSQI,SAS,SDS (p<0.01), and a positive correlationship was found between the VA (R) - Vd, PSQI,SAS,SDS,VA (R) -Vm(p<0.05).[Conclusion] 1. The gross sleep quality of soldiers is comparatively bad under the environment of cold and oxygen deficient Diqing plateau. Mainly reflected in aspects of the subjective sleep quality, sleep time, sleep efficiency, sleep disorders,and daytime dysfunction. As a result, measures have to be taken from these aspects in order to improve the soldiers' sleep quality.2. Under the environment of cold and oxygen deficient Diqing plateau, the sleep quality of the soldiers has a connection with their mental health condition, which is represented by the fact that soldiers with a bad sleep quality will have a bad mental health condition, while the the incidence rate of gross anxiety and depression is relatively low.3. Under the environment of cold and oxygen deficient Diqing plateau, the differentia of the velocity of blood flow among the all soldiers is small, while the velocity of blood flow on VA and BA is closed with the sleep quality.4. Under the environment of cold and oxygen deficient Diqing plateau, a positive correlation was found between the score of PSQI,SAS,SDS and VA(R)- Vd, which showed that the velocity of blood flow of the posterior circulation would increase caused by bad sleep quality , anxiety or depression, possibly because of the posterior circulation vasospasm caused by these factors under the environment of plateau.
