Abstract:Objective To study the cardiopulmonary exercise test on the 3-year-old age more than 20 years of age before and after surgery in patients with funnel chest cardiopulmonary function assessment, we are looking forward for seeking a more direct and effective evaluation methods and the choice of surgical procedure.Methods:60 patients under 20 years old 3 years old children with funnel chest cardiopulmonary exercise test under rest and exercise before and after 3 months,6 months and one year of heart and lung function were observed.60 patients confirmed funnel chest by history, physical examination, X-ray examination are selected. According to their resting heart rate (beats/min), age, sex, height, weight, and the similar funnel index, they are divided into 20 groups. each group have 3 patients randomly assigned to sternal elevation surgery group, sternal turnover surgery group and nuss surgery group. They had any cardiovascular disease or anemia, a history of cardiopulmonary function, after surgery 60 cases are followed up.Results:The funnel chest cardiopulmonary of surgical group indicators:under resting and exercise heart rate after six months and one year was decreased after surgery, the difference was significant (P<0.05). second volume of resting, second volume of execise, largest ventilation of resting and largest ventilation of exercise after half a year and after six months was increased after surgery, the difference was significant (P<0.05). after reviewing one year of each index were improved to some extent. Under the similar patient group nuss surgery group improve the indicator more visible than sternal elevation surgery group and sternal turnover surgery, sternal elevation surgery group over the same period increased no more significant differences among indicators than sternal turnover surgery patients group. In sternal elevation surgery group and sternal turnover surgery group change can be seen 3 months after rest and after exercise heart rate is increased compared with the preoperative and second volume of resting, second volume of execise, largest ventilation of resting and largest ventilation of exercise was decreased compared with the preoperative..In sternal elevation surgery group and sternal turnover surgery group change can be seen that rest and after exercise heart rate is decreased compared with the preoperative and second volume of resting, second volume of execise, largest ventilation of resting and largest ventilation of exercise was decreased compared with the preoperative until after surgery 6 months. Indicators of individual children over one year after surgery have no significant change or slightly decreasing. At nuss surgery group after rest and after exercise heart rate is decreased compared with the preoperative and second volume of resting, second volume of execise, largest ventilation of resting and largest ventilation of exercise is increased compared with the preoperative from 3 months to 12 months. Conclusion:The heart and lung function in children with funnel chest before surgery most have some damage to heart and lung function.after six months, most had some improvement, and surgical younger, faster heart and lung function. This is the right choice for clinical treatment of funnel chest surgery time providing a reference. In cardiopulmonary function nuss surgery group recovered rapidly. than traditional sternal elevation surgery and sternal turnover surgery. over the same period targets increased is no significant difference. Between sternal turnover surgery and sternal elevation surgery. The use of cardiopulmonary exercise testing in experiments can assess more intuitive to improve cardiopulmonary function after funnel chest surgery. It is a efficacy evaluation method with Intuition and non-invasive,deserving to clinical application.
