Objective:This paper, which can offer theoretical foundation for the recovery of the IBS patient by using ultra short wave,is to study the changes of the ratio of the T-lymphocytes subgroups and the content of the immunoglobulin Ig in the peripheral blood of patients with irritable bowel syndrome(IBS) before and after ultrashort wave treatment.Method:PBMCs from prepared from 50 healthy subjects and 45 IBS with diarrhea(IBS-D) before and after ultrashort wave treatment.Flow Cytometry(FCM) was used to test the expression of CD3,CD4,CD8 in PBMCs.Ig is tested by the immune scatter turbidimetry and the total number of lymphocytes before and after treatment are counted by SF-3000. All result is analyzed by t-test.Results:1.T lymphocytes subgroups and Ig production from healthy controlThe percentages of CD3~+,CD4~+ and CD8~+ of PBMCs of healthy control group are CD3~+(58.72±2.89)%,CD4~+(39.32±1.59)%,CD8~+(24.89±1.42) respectively.CD4~+/CD8~+ is(81.40±0.14).Ig production assay showed that there were IgG(7.91±0.49)g/L,IgA(1.76±0.50)g/L and IgM (1.11±0.86)g/L in healthy control. 2.Lymphocytes counting of IBS-D patients before and after treatmentThere is(2.12±0.66)×10~9/L totally in IBS-D patients before treatment and(2.17±0.46)×10~9/L after treatment. There is no obvious significance difference in lymphocytes counting between healthy control((2.29±0.76)×10~9/L)and IBS-D patients(P>0.05) with the normal group.3.T lymphocytes subgroups and Ig production from IBS-D patientsThe percentages of CD3~+,CD4~+ and CD8~+ of PBMCs of IBS-D patients are CD3~+(54.83±2.24)%,CD4~+(20.35±1.18)%,CD8~+(34.77±1.74)% respectively,he ratio of CD4~+/CD8~+ is(0.72±0.22).Comparing with the normal group, the blood CD4~+ decreased obviously(p<0.01) and CD8~+ increased distinctly(P<0.01) which resulted in the fall of CD4~+/CD8~+ (p<0.01).The production of Ig in ISB-D patients is IgG(9.30±1.18)g/L, IgA(2.09±0.40) g/L and IgM(0.97±0.42) g/L respectively.Comparing to the control group,IgG and IgA of IBS-D patients increased relatively (p<0.05).4.T lymphocytes subgroups of the IBS-D patients after ultrashort wave treatmentThe percentages of CD3~+,CD4~+ and CD8~+ of PBMCs of IBS-D patients after treatment are CD3~+(54.93±2.14)%,CD4~+(27.36±3.21)%, and CD8~+(28.86±2.41)%.The ratio of CD4~+/CD8~+ is(0.96±0.15). Comparing with the result before treatment,CD4~+ of patients after treatment increased distinctly, while CD8~+ decreased obviously(both P<0.01) and the ratio of CD4~+/CD8~+ increased distinctly(P<0.01).5.The change of Ig of the IBS-D patients after ultrashort wave treatmentAfter treatment, the IgG,IgA and IgM are IgG(9.25±1.15)g/L,IgA (1.48±0.16) g/L and IgM(0.90±0.32) g/L.Comparing with the result of before treatment,IgA of patients after treatment decreased obviously (P<0.01) and IgM didn't alter apparently(P>0.05).Conclusion1.The proportion of the T-lymphocytes subgroups of the IBS patients is out of balance and immunity is abnormal, which offers the possibility of IBS suffering might be connected with the immunity imbalance.2.Ultrashort wave treatment increased the ratio of CD4~+/CD8 ~+increased,IgA lowered, the imbalance of the bowel immune function improved in a certain degree and the Irritable bowel syndrome lowered, which showed that ultrashort wave treatment can improve the Irritable bowel syndrome of the IBS patients and adjust the immune function.3 The T-lymphocytes subgroups and Ig level test can be helpful for diagnosis of the IBS-D.
