Objective:Through to observe highly effective progestogen treatment on atypical endometrial hyperplasia,to evaluate the curative effect of hormonal therapy on atypical endometrial hyperplasiaMethods:We retrospectively studied the clinical characteristics of 43 patients with 26~39years of age diagnosed with atypical endometrial hyperplasia,who were treated with highly effective progestogen in shangdong provincial hospital from 2004 to 2008. All of them were diagnosed with atypical endometrial hyperplasia by fractional curettage,and the expression of progestogen-receptor were positive.According to pathologic results,43 patients were divided into three groups,there were 18 cases (41.86%) with light-degree atypical endometrial hyperplasia,15 cases(34.88%)with moderate-degree,and 10 cases(23.26%) with severe-degree.To evaluate the curative effect of highly effective progestogen therapy by fractional curettage after 3 months, stoped treatment to the curative patients,and the no curative patients continued to get 3 months treatment.To make a follow-up visit about its birth situation.Results:After progestogen therapy,17 cases with light-degree were cured,and 1 case was effective;12 cases with moderate-degree were cured,and 3 cases were effective;5 cases with severe-degree were cured,and 3 cases were effective,but 2 cases were no effective,1 case among the cured had recured after 6 months.Among the 43 cases,12 cases had desires of fertility,all of them were cured after progestogen therapy,and 6 cases had got pregnancy after proconceptive trentment. Conclusions:Highly effective progestogen therapy is a good choice for young women who have desires of fertility and are diagnosed with atypical endometrial hyperplasia.
