Objective: In China, coronary heart disease has became the first cause of death. The early diagnosis of coronary heart disease has been an hot topic of clinical research. Selective coronary angiography can directly show the extent of the coronary artery lumen stenosis and treat the lesion at the same time.Because of these advantages, selective coronary angiography has been considered as the gold standard of the diagnosis of coronary heart disease. But it is an invasive and expensive method which brings some risks and inconvenience to the patients. It is not suitable to all patients. The diagnosis of coronary heart disease in practice depends mainly on noninvasive methods. With the rapid development of science, there is a breakthrough in objective research of the pulse-taking, which lays the foundation of diagnosing coronary heart disease. Arterial compliance which is also named arterial elasticity is an intrinsic property of vascular walls. There must be a variation in arterial compliance with arterial sclerosis. The values of arterial compliance from the control group and the patients with coronary heart disease are measured and analysised to research clinical significance of arterial compliance in predication and evaluation of the coronary heart disease.Method:138 patients with coronary heart disease(88 men, 50 women; mean age 58.9±10.5years; age range 38-83years)were chosen. They were divided into two groups according to the selective coronary angiography. One was the patients group, the other was the control group. Two groups were managed as follows:①the blood of in-patients was drawn to analysis on an empty stomach.②the diagrams of the patients group and the control group were measured by the pulse wave testing system.③the arterial compliance values of the control group and the patients group were analyzed to research their correlation.④relationship between arterial compliance and coronary artery lumen stenosis was analyzed.Result:1. The arterial compliance values were significantly different among no coronary artery stenosis group, one coronary artery stenosis group, two coronary artery stenosis group and three coronary artery stenosis group;2. After multifactor logistic regression, lesion degrees of coronary artery, age, pulse pressure and diabetes were independent predictors of the arterial compliance.Conclusion:1. Arterial compliance can be used to predicate and evaluate the coronary heart disease. The more severe the coronary artery lesion was, the less the arterial compliance was.2.The aged, diabetes, large pulse pressure and multiple coronary artery stenosis were independent predictors of small arterial compliance. |
