Among them Internet Addiction Disorder (IAD) is one of the most prominent one.The term Internet Addiction came in to being in 1986, when Goldberg put Internet Addiction Disorder (IAD) as independent symptoms and suggested the concept of fiction of the IAD and its symptoms. After his research, the treatment of symptoms soon emerged in other places.At present, study abroad is still mainly focused on proof of the existence of Internet Addiction, the definition of the concept and differential standards on Internet Addiction, the analysis of reasons for Internet Addiction. At present, many regions and departments have also carried out survey and research on internet addiction. Lin Xuan-hui made use of 16 kinds of cartels Table Tests Personality Factor (16PF) and the Internet Addiction Tests Table to investigate Internet Addiction of Fuzhou University students and the relevant factors. These investigates the problem of internet addiction research has provided a lot of valuable information.China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC) released "The Twenty-second China Internet Development Statistics Report", which shows that at the end of June 2008, the number of citizens in China reached 253 million; University Students as the most active youth groups are also the keenest to network groups, thus the university Student Internet addiction problem is particularly prominent. Indulgence in the network due to a series of questions arising such as decreased academic performance, serious or even abandoning of their studies, psychological and behavioral abnormalities, can not be ignored. Therefore, a scientific research on University Students addiction problem of network will help them effectively use the network as well as prevent them from intervention science Internet Addiction, and this is the needs of the healthy development of information society.[The purpose and significance] At home and abroad because of indulgence in the network caused by the family, school, work, etc., as well as physical and mental health problems is becoming increasingly serious, Internet addiction has been subject to public concern and attention. In the use of the network population, accounted for the majority of students in all aspects of the study, the students are high-risk population of Internet Addiction. This study is to analyze the different tendencies of Internet addiction by studying University Students' internet using behavior, thus provide a basis for universities to guide University Students in proper use of Network, reduce the negative impact of network usage and enhance the awareness of the positive factors in the network to prevent Internet addiction[Methods] We use the stratified cluster random sampling method to conduct a questionnaire survey. 552colleges and universities in a university of Jining are randomly selected and questioned by unified training investigators according to Young Net Addiction Scale, Eysenck personality questionnaire and a self-compiled questionnaire.[Results] Internet Addiction detection rate of 12.77%, the detection rate of boys are 18.21%, 5.12% higher than those of girls, the difference was statistically significant (x2 =19.341, P <0.05). Junior grade higher than other grades on internet addiction detection rate, internet addiction rate were significant (F=2.844, P = 0.025) in different grades. Interpersonal situation, self-confidence and optimism and Internet Addiction Scale scores were negatively correlated, there are the protective factors of Internet Addiction; Internet time, Internet dependence, the spirit of quality, addiction and outside the network to the total scores were all positively correlated and there are the risk factors of Internet Addiction.[Conclusion and recommendations] The risk factors of Internet Addiction are gender, internet motives, personality, etc. It's necessary to take active and effective measures for prevention and intervention about these risk factors, including strengthening psychological guidance and enriching student life, to promote mental health by strengthening the network management and optimization campus network environment, to enhance the level of awareness to prevent Internet addiction by strengthening self-management. Moreover, home education concepts should be advanced with the times, as well as drug treatment and other measures to achieve prevention and to abstain from addictive behaviors of university students the purpose of the network. |
