Survey On Resident's Life Style And Health Status Among Those Who Are Aged 15-69 In Shandong Province

[Background] With the development of society and economy, the chronic diseases mainly including cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, cancer, and diabetes have already become more and more serious public health problem. 1991-2000 years, the proportion of China's chronic diseases deaths to total deaths was continuing an upward trend, which already rose from 73.8% in 1991 to 80.9% in 2000, casualty nearly 6 million. A large number of studies confirmed that the incidence of chronic diseases were closely related to bad behavior and life style, including smoking, excessive drinking, unreasonable diet, lack of physical work, mental factors, and other factors. To understand resident's life style and health status effectively, to grasp the occurrence and development trend and rule of chronic diseases and their risk factors, so as to provide a basis for taking the target-oriented prevention measure and formulating relevant policies and take specific prevention and control measures.[Objective] Through investigating the resident's life style and health status among those people who are 15-69, mastering the epidemic status of the chronic diseases and related risk factors in different regions and different groups of people, analyzing the changing trend for the risk factors to provide the basis for making and evaluating the health policy and intervention measures. [Method] This research chooses altogether 3840 residents who are 15-69 as the examination object from 12 monitoring stations in Shandong Province, 2007. Adopt a phased stratified cluster sampling method, gain the information by adopting the centralism to investigate and to receive right of residence the investigation union way. This investigation uses the statistical method for the descriptive analysis, the multi-factor regression analysis; the statistical software which uses is the SPSS13.0 statistical analysis software.[Main Results]â‘ The Shandong Province chronic diseases related risk factor was still at the high popular condition, crowd smoking rate, drinking wine leads, hypertension prevalence rate, obese rate and so on still maintains at the high level.â‘¡In recent years, Through adopting effective health education and health promotion activities, the crowd's understanding of the clinical knowledge and the prevention knowledge to chronic diseases, such as smoking, hypertension, diabetes has further strengthened, the health life style's idea further set up, but how to transform this kind of knowledge and the idea to the practical action is still an urgent question.â‘¢We must take intervention measures to gradually reduce the popular intensity of the risk factor.[Conclusions]â‘ Monitoring risk factors focused on the resident's life style and health status investigation is an effective way to prevent and control chronic diseases, we should further perfect the risk factor monitoring system.â‘¡Continue to enlarge the chronic disease risk factor propaganda dynamics, initiate the health life style positively, reduce chronic illness's disease incidence rate.â‘¢Government should increase policy and funding in Health field, to further protect the health of residents.
