| Objective: To discuss the pathogenesis of the cold-heat complicated syndrome of rheumatoid arthritis (RA), and the theoretical basis to treat this disease with the modified Yuebi Decoction method. By contrasting the research of treatment group and one of the control group, to estimate the curative effect and safety.Method: According to the clinical test principle, the 40 RA patients that belong to the cold-heat complicated syndrome type are divided into two groups by random, the treatment group which contains 20 patients are treated with MTX 10mg P.O 1/w+Diclofenac 75mg P.O 1/d+ modified Yuebi Decoction, and the control group which also contains 20 patients are treated with MTX 10mg P.O 1/w+Diclofenac 75mg P.O 1/d, and the periods of treatment of two groups is 2 months.Result: The totally effective rate of the treatment group is 95 % while the rate of the control group is 75 %. There is a significant difference between the treatment group and the control group (P < 0.05). After treating, the clinical and TCM symptom of the two group patients are all significantly improved (P < 0.05) , and the treatment group are better than the control group. The contrast result shows that ESR,CRP,PLT,RF of both the treatment group and the control group are changed after treating (P < 0.05), and there is also a significant difference between the treatment group and the control group ( P < 0.05) .There is not serious adverse effect in the two groups .Conclusion :To cure the cold-heat complicated syndrome of RA, the combination treatment of modified Yuebi decoction and western medicine can improve the clinical presentations effert better than the contrast grope by the cure one, and have a better security. |
