The Effects Of Gastric Motility, Substance P(SP), Motilin(MTL) And Somatostatin(SS) By Acupuncturing The Acupoints Of Foot-Yangming Meridian In Rats

Objective:TO observe the effects of the gastric motility and gut peptides of the rats by electroacupuncture(EA) in acupoints of Foot-Yangming Meridian,to clarify whether the gut peptides are the substantial elements linking stomach and Foot-Yangming Meridian.Methods:Sixty rats were divided into six groups:normal control group,model group(group with gastric mucous damage,GMD),Sibai group(with EA Sibai point+GMD),Tianshu group(with EA Tianshu+ GMD),Zusanli group(with EA Zusanli point+GMD),non-point group (with EA non-point+GMD).The model of gastric mucous damage(GMD) was induced by infusing pure Alcohol into gastric cavity.The frequency and amplitude of gastric motility were monitored by the method of "Gas Balloon".Contents of SP and MTL in antrum and medulla were measured by radioimmunoassay.Results:①Inhibitoy effect of the frequency and amplitude of gastric motlity were shown in model group.(P＜0.05 or P＜0.01),After needling the points of Sibai,Tianshu,Zusanli,the gastric motility restored to normal.Compared with control group,the amplitude showed significant difference.(P＜0.01).②Levers(pg.ml^-1) of SP in antrum of model group were lower than that in control group(P＜0.05),And after nedling points of Tianshu, Zusanli,SP lever in antrum were much higher compared with model group(P＜0.05).SP lever in medulla in model group were higher than control group,but those in acupuncture groups were lower than that in model group.③Antrum and medull MTL levers(pg,ml^-1) in model group were all lower than that in control group.After needling Zusanli,the medulla MTL lever was much higher than that in model group(p＜0.05).④Antrum and medulla SS levers in model group were all higher than that in control group(P＜0.05 or P＜0.01),The increase in both acupuncturing Sibai group and Zusanli group was mot obvious(p＞0.05).Conclusion:It can increase gastric motlity by electroacupuncture (EA)in acupoints of Foot-Yangming Meridian.There exists certain parallel relationship between SP,MTL and SS level in antrum,medulla and gastric motility.It is suggested that SP,MTL and SS in antrum and medulla may play a certain role in regulating stomach activity by needing the points of Foot-Yangning Meridian.
