Experimental Research On The Effect Of Tiaoxin Decoction On Rabbits Model With Dilated Cardiomyopathy Doxorubicin-induced

Objective:to explore the effects of Tiaoxin decoction on cardiac structure And function of rabbits model with dilated cardiomyopathy.Methods:Forty rabbits were assigned randomly into five groups:normal group,model group,Capotopril-treating group,low dose Tiaoxin decoction, high dose Tiaoxin decoction.Except of the normal group,the others were given Doxorubicin by intravenous injection twice per week for eight weeks.The Drugs and distilled water were given to each group in the latter four weeks.Cardiac structure and function were measured and comparatively analyzed at the end of the experiment.Results:Compared with normal group,the cardiac function of model group decreased significantly(P＜0.05).While the cardiac dysfunction were improved significantly in all treating groups.The differences among the treating groups were not significant.Tiaoxin decoction and Captopril can prevent cardiac left ventricular remodeling and decrease left ventricular fibrosis.Conclusions:Tiaoxin decoction can improve cardiac function and have anti-left-ventricular-fibrosis effect.
