Objective To master the HBsAg carrying status and the immunization level of hepatitis B ,and to explore the influential factors of HBsAg carrier among primary school children in Mayang county. So as to develop the preventive strategies and the protection of susceptible individuals. Methods 1. Stratified-Cluster random sampling survey. Blood samples were taken from the primary school children who were sampled and analysised by ELISA for detection of HBsAg, HBsAb,HBeAg, HBeAb, HBcAb. 2. According to the investigation about HB serological epidemiological study among primary school children in MAYANG , we designed the research with 1:2 case-control study. In research on the influencial factors of HBsAg carrier, We selected HBsAg(+) cases found in the study as cases group and selected HBsAg(—) primary school children who was same gender and same villige and age difference less than 2 years as control objective. We inquire with unite questionnaire. Results 1. In this population the positive percentage of HBsAg is 3.04%. Among male and female groups the positive percentages are 3.74% and 2.29% respectively and the differences were significant (P<0.01).The differences of the positive percentage of HBsAg among age groups, county town and rural area groups were no-significant(P>0.05). 2.In this population the total positive rate of Anti-HBs is 44.44%. Among male and female groups the positive rate were 43.55% and 45.40% respectively and the differences were no-significant (P>0.05).The differences of the total positive percentage of Anti-HBs among age groups, county town and rural area groups were no-significant(P > 0.05). 3.Researching results of the relative influential factors of HBsAg carrier among primary school children: As compared with the control group, in case group the exposure rate of relative influential factors such as mother's cultural level, per capita income families, intramuscular injection or intravenous infusion history, drawing tooth in hospital, immunization history, immunization history on HB vaccine, vaccinating HB vaccine within 24 hours,strengthen-immunization of HB vaccine,full-immunization of HB vaccine, mother's HB case or HBsAg(+) case, disposable syringe, and so on is higher. As variables, mother's cultural level, intramuscular injection or intravenous infusion history, drawing tooth in hospital, vaccinating HB vaccine within 24 hours, mother's HB case or HBsAg(+) case, disposable syringe in logistic regression model are significant at the 0.05 level. Conclusion 1.The positive percentage of HBsAg in the primary school children is higher than some other areas, and sex-distribution difference is still existed. The level of immunization of hepatitis B in primary school children has been enhanced after vaccination of hepatitis B vaccine in expanded program of immunization in the locality, which has changed the urban and rural distribution of hepatitis B. 2.In the primary school children of MAYANG county there are still lots of susceptible persons to hepatitis B,so the vaccination of hepatitis B vaccine must be expanded and enhanced.3.intramuscular injection or intravenous infusion history, drawing tooth in hospital, mother's HB case or HBsAg(+) case are risk influential factors in HBsAg(+) carrier.mother's cultural level, vaccinating HB vaccine within 24 hours, disposable syringe are protective factors in HBsAg(+) carrier.
