Expression And Clinical Significance Of MTOR And Akt Protein In Bladder Carcinoma

ObjectiveTo investigate the expression and clinical significance of mTOR and Akt protein in bladder carcinoma.MethodsWestern Blot was performed to test the mTOR and Akt protein level in the case group and the control group,observe the expression of mTOR and Akt protein between bladder carcinoma and normal bladder tissue,analyse the relation for the expression of mTOR and Akt protein among bladder carcinoma clinical pathology.ResultsmTOR and Akt protein showed low expression in the normal bladder tissue,While they were of significantly higher expression in the bladder carcinoma,The poor differentiation of bladder carcinoma correlated well with the low expression of mTOR and Akt protein.The expression of mTOR and Akt protein was higher in invasive tumor than noinvasive tumor.There was a positive relationship between mTOR and Akt protein in the same sample.ConclusionsThe present results suggest that mTOR and Akt protein express highly in bladder carcinoma,which is related to the pathological differentiation and pathogenesis of the tumor,mTOR and Akt protein may be a therapeutic purposes in bladder.
