The Study On The Evaluation Indexes System Of AIDS Behavioral Intervention Among The Female Commercial Sex Workers

Purpose:Analyze the documents of AIDS Behavioral Intervention in and abroad, including evaluation theory and evaluation method, inorder to construct the Evaluation Indexes System of AIDS Behavioral Intervention among the female commercial sex workers which can evaluate the project of AIDS accurately and easily.Methods:Use the method of document analysis to find out the theory basis of constructing the Evaluation Indexes System of AIDS Behavioral Intervention, then establish the base frame of the Evaluation System; Utilize the Delphi method and special panel discussion to select the indicators in the base frame of the Evaluation indexes System, after that the primary evaluation system has been formed; use Principal Component Analysis,Cluster analysis and nonparametric test to screen the indexes in the primary evaluation system, finally we can get the Evaluation Indexes System of AIDS Behavioral Intervention among the female commercial sex workers;apply the Analytic Hierarchy Process to get the weight of the indexes in the system; apply document analysis method and Delphi method to generate questionnaire of the indexes system.Results:1. The Evaluation Indexes System of AIDS Behavioral Intervention among the female commercial sex workers bases on the System Theory and Behavior Intervention Theory. The Behavior Intervention Theory which used in this research contains model of knowledge-attitude-belief, health belief model, Social Cognitive Theory, behavioral change theory model and so on. 2. The positive coefficient of the two expert consultation both reach to 100%, and authority coefficient of the expert in the two rounds are 0.778 and 0.806 Respectively; The second round of coordination coefficient is a little better than the first one, it also shows that the evaluation result of the experts have strong consistency.3. Analyze the researches related AIDS Behavioral Intervention in and abroad, and constructe the base frame of the Evaluation Indexes System. The frame is composed of three grade indexes. The first grade indexes contain behavioral tendency, behavioral forcing, behavioral reinforcement and behavioral change. Behavioral tendency include Knowledge, belief of health behavior, motivation of health behavior. Behavioral forcing contains service ability, service utilization and policy. Behavioral reinforcement is composed of external reinforcement and internal reinforcement. Behavioral change contains the change of sex behavior, health seeking behavior and so on.The second grade has eleven indicators in total.The third grade has fifty-eight indicators in the frame.4. Use two rounds of Delphi method and dynamic screening method to screen indicators, finally we can get the Evaluation indexes System. In the first round,fourteen indexes has been screened,and six indicators has been added; in the second round ten indexes has been deleted.After the two rounds, the first and second grade are the same to the base frame, the third grade has forty indicators including knowledge rate, Self-efficacy, condom accessibility and so on.5. Apply the Analytic Hierarchy Process to obtain the weight of the Evaluation Indexes System of AIDS Behavioral Intervention among the female commercial sex workers, and the consistency of the judgment matrix is very well.6. According to characteristic of the indexes system, we explain all levels of indexes, and profit from the related researches in and abroad, then formulate the measuring tool of the evaluation system. Use Delphi method and the other methods to improve the newly measuring tool. Finally the measuring tool of the Evaluation Indexes System of AIDS Behavioral Intervention for the female commercial sex workers has been formed.Conclusion:1. Significance of constructing the Evaluation Indexes System of AIDS Behavioral InterventionUnder the related research in and abroad, combine with the actual situation of China, then construct the Evaluation Indexes System of AIDS Behavioral Intervention which is suitable for the female commercial sex workers. It can guide the evaluation work of AIDS, provides the basis for the formulation and implementation of the related policies in our country, and it is also advantageous to conclude the valuable experience which is good for further promotion of the intervention work.2. Theoretical Basis of the Evaluation Indexes System of AIDS Behavioral Intervention is reasonableThe Evaluation Indexes System of AIDS Behavioral Intervention bases on the System Theory and Behavior Intervention Theory. The Behavior Intervention Theory which used in this research contains model of knowledge-attitude-belief, health belief model, Social Cognitive Theory, behavioral change theory model and so on. All the theories above are very important theory of the behavioral intervention. Fully use those theories, pay attention to the characteristic of the study object to construct the Evaluation Indexes System of AIDS Behavioral Intervention among the female commercial sex workers which is simple and reasonable.3. The indexes chosen by Delphi and dynamic screening method are operable.The frame of the Evaluation Indexes System has very strict rules for the selection of the indexes in order to be easy to collect the related data. When we use the Delphi method, most of the experts are the management persons who work in the basic level of the AIDS'prevention and treatment, and they can make sure that the chosen indexes are all has the ability of operability. After the construction of the new Evaluation Indexes System, we use Delphi and dynamic screening method to improve it, one of the important aspects we based on is the operability of the indexes. One of the rules of the indexes chosen from the system must be operable, and we use this rule in the construction, screening, and formation of the indexes system.4. The indexes chosen by the method of dynamic screening has comprehensiveness and representativeThe method of dynamic screening can make up the deficiency of the methods which is widly used for the screening of the indexes. It can guarantee the index which has been chosen has comprehensiveness and representative. This method uses Principal Component Analysis, Cluster analysis and nonparametric test to check the difference among the indexes.5. The weight determination of the Evaluation Indexes System of AIDS Behavioral InterventionAnalytic Hierarchy Process can combine the qualitative and the quantitative materials, fully use the result of expert consultation, and use the consistency to check whether the result of expert consultation has logicality. The result of consistency has show that the weight of the evaluation indexes system is reasonable.6. The measurement tool of the Evaluation Indexes System of AIDS Behavioral Intervention has practicality.Use the focus group discussion to determine the rules of making questionnaire, base on the definition of the indexes in each level, reference the research data in and abroad, and then make the primary questionnaire. Combine the evaluation methods of subjective and objective to improve the primary questionnaire, the most important in this step is to emphasize the importance of practicality in the modification of the questionnaire. Then chose some female commercial sex workers to apply the modified questionnaire, and collect the opinion from them to modify the questionnaire, in this way, the final questionnaire has practicality.
