| Objective:To observe the clinical effect of taking Gexiazhuyu concoction in the treatment of dysmenorrhea,and to investigate its effect in relieving the qi-stagnation and blood-stasis symptoms in the patients.Method:Through extensive research in both Traditional Chinese Medicine and mainstream medicine,it is determined that qi-stagnation and blood-stasis play an important role in the etiology of dysmenorrhea;thus,we used the gexiazhuyu concoction from the renowned Wang Qing Ren in its treatment.The study used a single-blinded,placebo approach to observe the clinical effect of using the gexiazhuyu concoction in treating dysmenorrhea.Results:The total effective rate of the treatment group was 90.0%.All the symptoms improved after treatment. |
