The performance management has received widespread attention from domestic to foreign theorists and enterprisers as a management system integrating the strategy, resources,business and actions.The hospital performance is the achievement,efficiency and effectiveness.It is the objective reaction of hospital's management and administration while the central matter is performance evaluation.Influenced by the changes of the medicine pattern and the policies,the Chinese general hospitals are facing the challenges which the competition drove day by day.This provides a good opportunity for the general hospitals to win the survival,cultivate and promote the competitive advantage,as well as the core competition.The general hospital performance evaluation can be divided into three part:the hospital level,the department level and the personal level.Through summarizing the performance management correlation theories and comparative research between domestic and foreign hospitals,the article focus on the personal level performance evaluation in the emergency department,and uses the theory of performance evaluation,questionnaire investigation, discussion,expert consultion and material analysis and so on the methods.At the end,the paper constructs the KPI system of the doctor in the emergency department.Finally,the paper discusses the apply of performance evaluation result and the performance feedback from the perspective of doctor in the emergency department.This research will promote the performance management of general hospital.It is conclusion also have a model significance to other hospital's emergency department who has faced the similar reform difficulties.
