The Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Da Ming Yin To Diabetic Retinopathly Of Non-Proliferative Phase

Objective:To evaluate the efficiency of Da Ming Yin for treatment of non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy(NPDR) and investigate the mechanism of Da Ming Yin for Yiqi Yangyin and Huayu Zhixue(supplementing qi, nourishing yin,removing blood stasis).Methods:32 patients(64 eyes) with typeⅡdiabetes mellitus concurrent with nonproliferative diabetic retinopathy issue of fundus changes were clinically gathered and randomly divided into the treatment group(16 cases) treated with Da Ming Yin and control group(16 cases) treated with Doxium.Curative effects were observed objectively,and visual acuity,fundus photography and fundus fluorescein angiography,visual field and color Doppler flow imaging were detected before and after 1 month's treatment.Results:(1) After treatment,the total curative effective rate in treatment group was 93.57%,better than that in the control group(71.43%,P＜0.05).(2) Comparison of fundus examination and fluorescein angiography,the treatment group was superior to the control group.The total curative effective rate in treatment group and control group was 93.75%,75%respectively.There was significant difference between the two groups(P＜0.05).(3) Significant difference was shown in the comparison of visual field before and after treatment in the treatment group(P＜0.05).After treatment the visual field was improved in the control group,however,there was no statistical significance (P＞0.05).After treatment there were significant difference between the two groups(P＜0.05).(4) Retinal blood flow was improved in both groups after treatment.There was significant difference in the comparison of PSV,EDV (P＜0.05) in the treatment group.There was significant difference in the comparison of RI(P＜0.05),and no statistical significance in the comparison of PSV,EDV(P＞0.05) in the control group.Significant difference was shown in the comparison of PSV,EDV(P＜0.05),and no statistical significance was shown in the comparison of RI(P＞0.05) between the two groups.(5) There was significant difference in the comparison of visual inspection results in their respective group(P＜0.05) and no statistical significance compared between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusions:The Chinese traditional medicine Da Ming Yin had a significant curative effect on the treatment of non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy.
