The Observation Of The Therapeutic Effects And The Quality Of Life In Curing Patients With Acne Vulgaris Using Jinhuaxiaocuo Pill

objectiveTo observe the clinlcal efficiency of Jinhuaxiaocuo pill in curing the acne vulgaris and to evaluate the life quality of patients who took the medicine.To evaluate the clinical efficiency by Dermatology life quality index(DLQI),the combination of DLQI and clinical efficiency could estimate the patients' physiology, psychology and society performance.Therefore,to provide a new idea for the treatment of acne vulgaris.methods1.One hundrend and twenty patients,who were hospitalized in NO.1 hospital from March in 2008 to September in 2008 and were acne vulgaris patients.They were divided in to three degree by pillsbury criteria and randomly divided into the therapy group(60 cases) and the control group(60 cases)by turn.There were no difference in age,sexy,course of disease,and so on,between the two groups(P＞0.05).2.The therapy group:Jinhuaxiaocuo(made by Kunming Traditional Chinese medicine factory)pill for oral take,3 times a day,4g per time;Meiluxiaocuo mastic(made by Guizhou Jinacheng pharmaceutical factory) for external use,2-3 times in the day;Avita Gel(made by Chongqing Huabang pharmaceutical factory),1 time a day in the night avoiding the light.Control group:doxycycline pill for oral take,2 times a day,0.1g per time;Meiluxiaocuo mastic(made by Guizhou Jinacheng pharmaceutical factory) for external use,2-3 times in the day;Avita Gel(made by Chongqing Huabang pharmaceutical factory),1 time a day in the night avoiding the light.3.Dermatology life quality index(DLQI) which was made by Finlay was used for evaluating the patients quality of life before and after the treatment.It was a questionnaire which was severely examed, used for the adult above 16-year-old,and could evaluate all aspects which could affect the patients with dermatogic disease.4.Each patient filled the form before and after the treatment all by himself/herself with 5 minutes(as noon as possible).5.The evaluation of DLQI:A-3 grades;B-2 grades;C-1 grade;D-0 grade;not matched-0 grade;6.The period of treatment was 8 weeks.Results1.With comprehensive clinical analysis,the efficiency(96.7%) of patients in the therapy group was significantly better than that(83.3%) in the control group(P＜0.05).But the cure rate between the two groups was insignificant.2.The clinical effect among the three groups:typeⅢwere more significant,whereas,typeⅠwere insignificant.What is more,all types in therapy group were better than the control group.3.It was showed in the tables that:both in the therapy and control group,self-sensation,social intercourse and family life were better after the treament(in the therapy group P＜0.01;in the control group P＜0.05).With comparation of the control group,every item in therapy group was better(P＜0.05).All the tables indicated that both groups could improve the quality of life of the patients with acne vulgaris,and the therapy group was better.conclution1 It was effective of the use of Jinhuaxiaocuo pill in the curing of acne vulgaris.2 Jinhuaxiaocuo pill could enhance the quality of life of the patients with acne vulgaris.3 DLQI could be used in evaluating the effctiveness of drugs.
