Peter·F·Drucker said: If you cannot evaluate, you are unable to manage. The performance evaluation is the basic of operating corporation. At present, the performance evaluation has been used widely in Chinese business administration. In stock-company, the performance evaluation is extremely important to the shareholder as well as the administrator.Since 1978, Chinese economy has obtained considerable development. But the development of healthcare actually fall behind compared to the development of market economy. Although the government pays attention to it, Hospital administration develops still slowly. The Chinese public hospitals implements separation of the right between the property rights and the right of operation, but both of the owner and the operator, have not evaluated the performance to the operation and administration of the hospital. The operator of state-owned hospital is not pay attention to the hospital performance management. Therefore, in present, State-owned Hospital is not be operated and managed very well. And in Chinese Private hospital, performance evaluation is mainly made of financial perspective. The evaluation emphasizes the present income, ignores public welfare. In China, hospital performance evaluation mechanism is not build either, the hospital administration is not mature, hospital lacks the competitive ability. And all these factors cause that the burden of social healthcare is aggravated, the problem that "it is difficult to see doctor and it is much expensive to see doctor" is obvious much moreIn these years, more and more foreign hospital enters China healthcare market, and the healthcare demand of people becomes diversification. If Chinese hospital does not implement performance management, does not implement performance evaluation mechanism, how to compete to the foreign hospital? How to exist in the market? To the private hospital, how they can operate continues forever? To the state-owned hospital, if they are operated with higher waste, lower efficiency, under the national support potency, the people's property will be heartless wasted.In this condition, this paper starts with the hospital administration, by way of the theory and the method of corporate governance, researches performance evaluation mechanism of China hospital, so that improve hospital core competition ability, satisfy people's healthcare demand, and make hospital operated continues forever.This paper will analysis present situation and the existence problem of China hospital performance evaluation(Chapter 2), unifies the corporate governance problem that must face to in building performance evaluation mechanism (Chapter 3), and solve the problem which must be faced with in building performance evaluation mechanism(Chapter 4). And then, using the Balance Scorecard, taking xx hospital as the example, build performance evaluation mechanism of hospital (Chapter 5). Finally, forecast the implementation of the hospital performance evaluation mechanism (Chapter 6). I hope that with building and implementing hospital performance evaluation mechanism, China hospital can be operated in higher efficiency, lower waste, and can improve the core competition ability, most importantly, can benefit the general patients.
