The Study On Body Respond Between Laparoscopic Appendectomy And The Classical Way Of Surgical Operation

Purpose: To investigate the differences of surgical operation effect and traumatic response between appendectomy and laparoscopic appendectomy.Methods: 40 patients, who were cured from 2006-12 to 2007-9 in the department of the general surgery of the affiliated Yuhuangding hospital of Qingdao University Medical College because of acute appendicitis, were divided into two groups at random. Each group included 20 patients. Respectively adopted the two ways of surgical operation, which were appendectomy and laparoscopic appendectomy, and compared the two ways of surgical operation with the cost time, enteric peristalsis resuming time after operation, all the cost in hospital and complications. Through examining the quantities of CRP, TNF-αand WBC in vein blood which was phlebotomized in 1 hours before operation, 7 o'clock in the first day and the third day after operation.Results: There was no statistic significant between the two groups in CRP and TNF-α(P>0.05) before operation. The quantities of CRP and TNF-αreached the high peak in the first day after operation, and they were remarkable high in the group of appendectomy compared with the group of laparoscopic appendectomy in which they rose slowly but dropped quickly. The WBC and neutrophil reached the high peak in the first day after operation, and they were remarkable high in the group of appendectomy compared with the group of laparoscopic appendectomy but the lymph cell was low. They were normal in three days after operation. It cost about the same time for operation between the two groups(P>0.05). It took less resuming time in group of laparoscopic appendectomy than that in group of appendectomy(P <0.01). There was no complication among two groups. The cost in hospital of the group of laparoscopic appendectomy was higher than the group of appendectomy, but there was no statistic significant between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions: Thorough the study, we could see that laparoscopic appendectomy, it had such advantages as little hurt, little pain, quick comeback and few complications. So laparoscopic appendectomy was the optimal operation way to cure acute appendicitis.
